What flowers would go well with a very formal tiffany blue and chocolate brown July wedding?

Im really looking for something elegant or unique. It is a big hall so I need centerpieces that will fill it out with the high ceilings and what not....your help is most appreciated. PICTURES PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :-) thank u!

Also, if u have any other ideas to go with this color scheme, PLEASE let me know or leave some pictures. I really like vintage type styles...if that helps.

I think that Calla Lilies would look beautiful with that color scheme. Like these:

Hydragea%26#039;s are also lovely flowers that would look beautiful...

You could also use some ivory/champagne/white roses. Those always make lovely looking tall centerpieces. Like these:

Reply:One of the most elegant set of arrangements I have ever seen used, involved long, skinny crystal vases brimming with tall white lilies (featured flower) and willowy greenery spilling over the sides. You could tie the tall vases with thin, gauze ribbons highlighting your color scheme blue/brown.

The crystal vases were 18 to 24 inches high and filled space at eye level when guests are standing. Then when they are seated at the tables, guests can see to talk with each other, and table space is conserved.

You can continue the theme at cake tables or champagne/punch tables, and vary the height even more by stacking blocks of wood (or something stable) under the white tablecloths.

Or, you could use chocolate %26amp;/or blue small tablecloths (napkins) to cover blocks of wood on these tables and set your tall vase flowers at varying heights with birdseed bouquets or guest rememberences.
Reply:I%26#039;m going to have to say that the only color of flowers with will match and not look bad are white. I would accent white flowers with some blue ones in the centerpieces (you will probably have to have them dyed to match the tiffany blue). I wanted to use an aqua color in my wedding, but I also wanted pink roses because those were the first flowers my husband bought me when dating. I ended up matching my wedding to my flowers because those were important to me. It%26#039;s up to you, though. I would say white, or VERY subdued, pale colored flowers.

I%26#039;m thinking something larger, but similar to this in the respect that it has the blue accents in it.

Just a few nice ideas!
Reply:If you need really big centrepieces maybe forget about flowers and use manzanita trees instead? They can be decorated beautifully, are very formal and elegant, and tall!

Reply:I am actually using the same colors in my wedding but finding real flowers in that color were difficult, so I went with simple white calla lilys and actually dyed white tulips the tiffany blue just to throw some color in there, and then tied ribbon around the stems to get the color theme in as well!
Reply:Every one has said the lilies but I think white roses would be pretty also and they are very elegant.

Depending on what style wedding you would like....

Calla Lilies are nice. They have one that is almost brown. That would look nice.

Or a variety of simple while flowers with blue and brown breading or ribbon intertwined with the flowers.....We put beads and crystals in the center of some deep pitted flowers for my wedding. It looked amazing.
Reply:You can never go wrong with Calla Lillies. They are very elegant.

Also, check out either the Style tv website or We tv website. They just had a Tiffany blue them wedding on. I know Style had one on this morning from 2005 but it was chocolate brown and like a pink/mauve.
Reply:Id use a square 8x8 vase with calla lilies and glue a tiffany blue ribbon around vase.

other color combinations that are great are

yellow and brown or black

turqouise and red

pink and orange

fuschia and green
Reply:white lilies would look really elegant and it would go with the blue and brown. they arent short stemmed flowers but there are tall stalks of flowers im sure you can find that might fill in the empty space better
Reply:I used Calla Lillies in my wedding and it was beautiful! Filled a large space. Go to this site it will help you. It helped me loads

Reply:If you have a lot of the blue and brown, I%26#039;d suggest white. Calla lillies or casablanca lilies are pretty.
Reply:Sunflowers would be a good one....or roses I think you can have dyed any color.
Reply:Orchids
Reply:I think you should go back to white or cream for the flowers--something like white Calla lilies?
Reply:Calla lillies could work well.
